...Last night I ruined instant chocolate pudding. Yes, 5 minute, add milk, mix, and put in the fridge pudding. What went wrong? Well, I decided to try a tip I read on Works for Me Wednesday about mixing powdered drinks (I've also heard this for adding cornmeal) You add just a bit of liquid to the powder to make a paste and then the paste easily stirs into the rest of the liquid. BUT, apparently pudding mix has an addative that causes it to begin to congeal as soon as it gets wet, so as I tried to make a paste, I got clumps and by the time I added the rest of the milk, it wasn't able to absord any more liquid.Dork. Yes. I. Am.
